🌧️ Pool Closure Notice

Mother Nature has other plans for us today!

Due to ongoing rain and weather conditions, the Vulcan Lions Community Pool will remain closed today.

While we're disappointed to miss another day at the pool, we're also grateful for the much-needed moisture. After a dry start to the season, this rain is a welcome sight for our lawns, gardens, farmers, and surrounding area.

We'll continue to monitor conditions and will provide updates as soon as possible regarding tomorrow's operations.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming everyone back when the weather cooperates!

🌧️🌬️ Pool Closure Notice

Due to high winds and rain, the Vulcan Lions Community Pool is closed for the remainder of today.

The safety of our patrons and staff is always our top priority. Strong winds, reduced visibility, and changing weather conditions can make swimming unsafe, so we've made the decision to close the facility.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates regarding tomorrow's operations as soon as possible.

☀️ UPDATE: We have officially defeated Mother Nature (kind of, for now). 🏊‍♀️

The Vulcan Lions Community Pool is back OPEN today, with Public Swim starting at 12:00 pm! 💦

And the good news keeps rolling: 🌊 We’ll also be OPEN tomorrow with regular weekend hours!

Thank you for riding out Alberta’s weather rollercoaster with us this May Long Weekend. It may still feel a little more “hoodie weather” than “heat wave,” but the pool is ready when you are. 😎

Grab your towel, sunscreen, and pool crew… we’ll see you at the pool!

🌧️ Mother Nature clearly missed the memo that it’s May Long Weekend. 🌬️☔

Due to the weather conditions, the Vulcan Lions Community Pool will be closed today. Between the cold temperatures, wind, and less-than-summery forecast, it’s just not safe or enjoyable to open the pool.

We know this is disappointing, especially for everyone ready to kick off summer poolside, but we promise the sunshine will have its comeback tour soon. ☀️

We’ll keep everyone updated on reopening plans and appreciate your patience while Alberta does… well… Alberta things.

The Vulcan Lions Community Pool is officially open for the season, and we’re ready for a summer full of sunshine, laughter, and plenty of time in the water.

Currently adding the final touches to summer 👀💦

The pool is being prepped, the water’s ready, and the countdown is officially down to ONE day.

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready for another season of cannonballs, pool noodles, sunscreen, and “5 more minutes?” ☀️
