GOC CLINIC UPDATE - NO PHONE LINE & INTERNET
March 6, 2026 - 12:00 pm - 4:45 pm

Staff will be in clinic from 8:45 am - 4:45 pm on Friday, March 6, 2026, however, there will be maintenance completed for telephone lines and internet from 12:00 pm - 4:45 pm and will not be able to contact the clinic during this time.

GOC Doctor Update

Dr. Sockanathan will be at the Golden Opportunity Clinic from February 2 - 5, 2026 and will be available from 9:30 am - 4:30 pm. Please update your information when you are booking your appointment and many appointments are available at 780-891-2847.

As a reminder NP Belinda Jackson does not return to the clinic until February 11, 2026.

ONGOING POLICE PRESENCE

Please be advised RCMP are currently on scene in Calling Lake.

Residents are being asked to avoid the areas North of Moose Drive and Pakan Street. At this time there is no identified risk to the broader community. Police are managing the situation.

Instructions

As a precaution, Police are asking the public in the area to avoid the area and refrain from picking up hitch hikers. Please refrain from posting photos or information related to police activity, report any suspicious occurrences and secure your residence. Updates will be provided as appropriate.
