I had a great visit in Wainwright, Alberta a couple days ago. I met with the local RCMP, Fire Department, EMS, Military MPs, Victim Services and Park Rangers. It's not often I can get all these groups together for one portrait. Later that day I gave a presentation on mental health and post traumatic growth for first responders.

On Thursday and Friday I'll be in Saskatoon for the 4th Annual PTSE Awareness Conference

On Saturday the 21st I'll be hosting the Derina Harvey Band at Blackjacks in Nisku for a first responder mental health fund raiser https://www.facebook.com/events/1590189827784699/

Next week we fly to Finland for the Finn'EM 2019 conference where I'll be speaking and auctioning some original artwork. Funds from the auction will go to support mental health initiatives for Finnish emergency workers. https://www.facebook.com/events/371919226902639/

At the end of the month I'll be in Biloxi, Mississippi for the MEMS 2019 conference. For the first time I'll be creating an original DanSun art piece live at this event. http://www.ms4ems.net/index.php

October 6th and 7th is our own Peer Recovery and Resiliency Symposium in Canmore, Alberta www.peerrrsociety.com

Later in October I'll be speaking at EMS World Expo in New Orleans https://www.emsworldexpo.com and at the Vital Signs EMS Conference in Buffalo, NY http://www.vitalsignsconference.com

It's going to be a busy few weeks but I consider myself very luck to be in a position where I can travel and meet my fellow emergency workers face to face. If you're able to attend one of the above events be sure to find me and say hi.

"The 2019 Emergency Services Open House - hosted by the Wainwright RCMP"
Rave to a great setup put on by our RCMP, Military Police, Ambulance service, face painting by Cathy, and Citizens on Patrol. The children and adults got to experience what it feels like to be handcuffed by our friendly RCMP members, handle equipment that the military and RCMP use on a regular bases, got to sit in the the fire trucks and ambulance. Everyone got to meet our first responders and ask them questions. Rave to Meatco donated burgers, Darwin's No Frills donated water and Hotdogs and pop donated by Wainwright Fire & Rescue. It was a great opportunity for the community to learn about our first responders as well as the Citizens on Patrol who help secure our town.

I would like to dedicate this photo album to Wainalta Motors for being such a community minded business by helping sponsor many events including the Wainwright Stampede, Edgerton Sports Days & Fair, Irma Summerspiel and the Wainwright Food Bank. They have also been a strong supporter of my computer service business and for that, I am grateful as it helps cover my living expenses so that I can do more with the amateur event photography for all to enjoy. ~ Tuan.
