We have had a busy month of May: starting with our Used Book Sale; A Bake Sale and finishing with our annual Yard Sale. I would like to take a moment to shout out to our amazing volunteers in the Lodge and from our community. They are the reason we can host all these events; they step in to help in multitude of ways; set up, pack up, baking and bringing the laughter and fun to our events. Thank you my friends! We couldn't do it with our you!
What a great month : a tour of Beyond tge Beaten Path Greenhouse; our wonderful Mother's Day Tea and Bake Sale; the residents made the cutest butterflies for a craft; a HUGE thank you to Kamille Anderdon for inviting us to the WEC Trick Riding demonstration and reserving for us front row seats; we had a wonderful time at our tea party tasting different teas. Thank you to one of our residents for the use of all the beautiful facinators; the Paint and Sip was a fun afternoon with beautiful paintings accomplished form our participants.
The music flowed through the Lodge this month with The Jammers, Ralph and Friends and Carol and Harold bringing toe tapping tunes for all of us to enjoy. We had a wonderful afternoon at Points West Living Wainwright listening to Bob Williams, visiting with our friends and family and enjoying an ice cream floats.
May was our last "Supper In" at the Lodge until the fall. We chose fried chicken from Aanas Restaurant. Amaxing! Highly recommended from all of us.

Let's talk Wainwright Stampede...only a month left before the biggest event of the year showcases our Town! Time to start planning how best to show off your amazing business. We're hoping for lots of decorated windows, western displays and promotions to show who you are and what your business is all about! If you would like to be featured on our page (our site is BUSY!) enter at [email protected], showing us your decorated business and your Stampede promo, sale, etc. Looking forward to the fun!

Don't want to have a yard sale but have stuff you don't want? The Battle River Lodge will help you out! Donate your stuff to the lodge until end of day Wednesday May 27th. The annual Lodge Yard Sale at 429 5th Ave will be on Friday May 29th from 1pm to 7pm and Saturday May 30th from 9am to 12 noon. All monies raised goes towards the residents club and supporting the activites program

Are you ready? Thursday, May 7th from 2 to 4pm is our Mother's Day and BAKE SALE!! Join us for tea and coffee and dessert; enter to win one of our door prizes and pick up some homebaked sweets to take home. Pies, cookies, tarts, fudge, peanut brittle, jams and so much more. What a great way to celebrate Mother's Day
