Walkerton Legion Branch 102 was proud to present two $1,000 donations to Sacred Heart High School in support of their athletics programs.

One donation will support the girls softball team, and the other will support the boys lacrosse team.

We are always happy to support local youth, school athletics, and the programs that help students grow through teamwork, commitment, and community spirit.

Congratulations to Sacred Heart and best of luck to both teams this season!

Pasta, pups, and a great cause. Sounds like a pretty solid Saturday night. 🐾

Friends of Animush Northern Animal Welfare will be hosting Pasta for Pooches at the Walkerton Legion on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with a spaghetti dinner at 6:00 p.m. There will also be a silent auction.

Tickets are $25 per person, with limited tickets available. All proceeds go toward spay/neuter and wellness clinics for northern animals.

Tickets are available at Holst Office Pro in Walkerton and Hanover, Walkerton Legion, and Brown’s Pharmacy, or by contacting [email protected] or Sandy at 519-881-5649.
Come out, enjoy a good meal, and help support some very deserving animals.
