📢 New 70 km/h Speed Zone on 76.5N

Residents are advised that a new 70 km/h speed zone is in place on 76.5N east of Collegiate Drive (Warren).

The 70 km/h speed zone applies to the section of 76.5N from 175 metres east of the eastern boundary of Collegiate Drive to 420 metres east of Road 3W.

Please take note of the new speed zone and drive accordingly. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping keep our roads safe for residents and all road users.

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Last night our friends from Move Mobility brought down a fully stocked ambulance (made in Manitoba we should add) - for our FFR members to practice in.

This was a great experience for those taking this course to get use to operating in tight quarters, navigating patients in and out of the vehicle on the stretcher and get used to being in an ambulance setting.

The Manitoba Government has recently announced the new Manitoba Flood Recovery Program (MFRP) to assist residents with flood damage that occurred as a result of the June storms.

Eligible municipalities include the RM of Woodlands.

Hello everyone!

Tonight our crew got re-certified for CPR and AED’s.

Did you know that in order to be a volunteer fire fighter you are required to always have a valid CPR/AED certificate?

These cool mannequins are connected to an app that tells us if our CPR  technique is correct and tests for speed, depth and rescue breathing.
