🏠 Housing Waiting List Survey

The Housing Department is inviting community members to participate in the Housing Waiting List Survey.

The survey will help us better understand the factors that should be considered when prioritizing housing applications.

A Q&A has been provided to answer common questions about the survey, the current Housing Waiting List, and the potential development of a future point-rating system.

As part of its Community Development Fund, Desjardins – Caisse Eeyou Eenou has generously donated 81 winter gear items to children from families in need.

This generous contribution will help ensure that children in our community can enjoy the winter season while staying warm, comfortable, and properly equipped for the colder months ahead.

We sincerely thank Desjardins – Caisse Eeyou Eenou for their generosity and continued commitment to supporting our community.

Social Assistance is assisting with the distribution of the winter gear to ensure that the donated items reach families and children who need them most. Thank you to Desjardins for helping support the well-being of our community this winter.

CFNW Council is pleased to announce the implementation of the Council Portfolio System for the current 2026–2030 Council term.

Each Council member has been assigned specific portfolios to help strengthen communication, coordination, and follow-up between Council and CFNW departments.

The portfolio system provides staff with clear Council contacts for specific areas while supporting collaboration, accountability, and effective coordination across the organization.
