Niskamoon — Project Proposals Deadline
The deadline to submit proposals is August 17, 2026. Applications forms are available at the front desk of the Admin building or can be requested to Isabelle Dixon at [email protected].
Examples of Niskamoon Projects:
• Traditional Dwelling
• Goose Pond/Corridor
• T.E.I.T- $2,200.00/km
• Skidoo/ATV trails - $1,800.00/km
• Portage trails - $1,800.00/km
• Fish Project - (must be community based)
• Beaver Project - (must be community based)
• Crossing
How to submit a proposal:
✅ Step 1: Draft up a proposal/letter on which project you want on your trapline, why is it important to you, and how it would benefit your harvesting, trapline and family.
✅ Step 2: Map; pinpoint where you want to do the project on your trapline on a map.
✅ Step 3: Write who (proponent/you) and workers will work on and how long the project will take.
✅ Step 4: If you are not the tallyman of the trapline, the tallyman/men must sign a 'Appendix b' an authorization form for the proponent's project.
✅ Step 5: Local Coordinator submits before the deadline.
