We had SO MUCH FUN at our STEAM Lab today!! We had 15 kiddos participate in the animal tracks, marble maze & invisible ink experiment, plus parents and a few littles that came along!

The library was packed for 2 full hours of fun, experiments and chaos!

Thank you to Mariam for coming to run the course, to everyone who came in, and to the the kids for doing such a great job of listening and participating so wholeheartedly! It was a great afternoon, and now our librarians need a nap!

One of our STEAM Lab kids left a jacket behind! We are open today until 4 if you can pop back in for it!

We just set out some fall-themed colouring pages for the kids (and kids at heart - we won't judge!)!

We love to show off the colouring pages our kiddos do, so if you bring them back in, we would be more than happy to hang them up where everyone can see them!

UPDATE: All spots are now full - thank you everyone!

On Saturday, October 3rd, we are offering a kids STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) Lab for those 5 & up!

We will have experiments with invisible ink, make animal prints in clay, and create marble runs / mazes!!

It's going to be an awesome afternoon of learning - without them realizing they are learning on a weekend!! Register your kids early so you don't miss out on the fun!

To register, give us a call at the library @ (306) 946-2244 or send us a message with their name, age & a contact number. :)

Story time today was so much fun! We read stories about a boy who's best friend was a butternut squash (!!), and a book that mixed up everything about fall! Apples turned orange, pumpkins turned red, kids jumped in piles of sticks and squirrels flew away for winter!

After we read our crazy books, we made mixed up corn! It was a great craft for fine motor skills, counting & practicing colours. Our pre-school aged attendees had a great time, and were so mixed up about their corn that they 'ate' them up!
