Heads up, Watson Lake!

Starting August 12, construction work will begin on new pedestrian crossings with connecting pathways in the area of Alaska and Robert Campbell Highways.

These improvements will support safer, more accessible connections between Watson Lake Secondary School, the gas station, the Sign Post Forest, and other key community destinations. Construction will continue through October this year.

During this time, parking in front of the Sign Post Forest along the Alaska Highway will be unavailable. Please use the Visitor Information Centre parking lot instead.

Sṓgá sínlāʼ, shō wā sínlā, thank you for your patience as we build safer ways to move around our community.
