The Wawa History Project began, in theory, years ago, when the idea of sharing Wawa’s rich and exciting history, via the internet, was discussed by those in Wawa who share a passion for our local history. The barrier to making the ideas reality was funding. That changed when it became clear that a funding source existed, namely The Ontario Trillium Foundation. An application was approved and the p
