All Thanksgiving dinner reservations for today at the Prince Café will be honoured as planned. However, we are now *sold out* of Thanksgiving dinners for walk-ins and takeout.

Our limited Café menu will still be available for those looking to stop by today. The Café will resume normal operations tomorrow, with the full regular menu (no turkey dinners).

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who chose to spend part of their Thanksgiving with us and trusted the Prince Café with your holiday dinner plans. We're so grateful for your support and look forward welcoming more guests today. 🙂

✨ On this day in 1884, Anna Eleanor(Eleanor) Roosevelt was born.

A writer, humanitarian, teacher, mother and tireless advocate for human rights, Eleanor Roosevelt wore many hats throughout her life.

Through her words and actions, she connected with people across the United States and around the world, sharing her experiences, reflections and belief in the importance of understanding one another.

Eleanor's life was also a testament to courage.
Though she knew fear, she continued to challenge herself, speak out for what she believed in and step beyond the boundaries of what was “expected” of her. Through her daily newspaper column, My Day, she offered readers glimpses into her everyday life, including her travels and, even time spent on Campobello Island.

Today, on what would have been her 142nd birthday, we remember a remarkable woman whose courage, compassion and influence reached far beyond her role as First Lady. Happy Birthday, Eleanor.

Prep for Thanksgiving Weekend at the Prince Café has begun. Enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner in historic Prince Cottage. The meal includes: a soft drink, roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, carrots, squash, gravy, cranberry sauce, a dinner roll and pumpkin or apple pie for dessert. 🤤 $36 regular, $26.50 for seniors, or smaller portion.

It’s more than a historic summer home. It’s a place where two countries come together. Roosevelt Campobello International Park is jointly owned, funded and managed by Canada and the United States, a unique partnership that has continued for more than 60 years.

Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, we honour Survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the families and communities who continue to carry the lasting impacts of the residential school system.

Today is a time to listen, learn, remember and reflect and to recognize that the work of reconciliation continues beyond September 30. 🧡
