The Fall Clean-Up is taking place September 18th & 19th.
The large refuse bins will be available at the Public Works yard both the 18th & 19th, with curbside taking place on Saturday the 19th only.

It's RACE time! Our annual Soapbox Derby will be held during the WDAS Fall Fair on September 12/26 10am-1pm.
Registration opens on July 20/26 and closes September 6/26

Changes are coming to the Town of Wembley's program on October 1, 2026. Your recycling program will be managed by Circular Materials, a not-for-profit Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) responsible for Alberta’s transition to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
With this transition comes more convenience – and more recycling options. Starting October 1, 2026, you’ll be able to recycle more materials in your curbside recycling program and at your local depot.
Stay tuned for more details! In the meantime, keep doing what you are doing. There are no changes to your recycling system until October 1, 2026.
