90 minutes of free parking at Ambleside Park is anticipated to begin July 7.

Once in effect, visitors can receive 90 minutes of free parking by starting a PayByPhone session and entering their licence plate using the app, website, or phone option. One free 90-minute session is available per licence plate, per day.

For stays longer than than 90 minutes, paid parking is required at $2.50 per hour for additional time. Payment can be made using the hangTag or PayByPhone mobile apps, or at a physical pay station.

West Vancouver residents are eligible for a free annual parking pass. To apply, visit impark.com/westvan. Residents with a valid parks parking pass do not need to register for the 90 minutes of free parking.

This summer, Metro Vancouver’s interactive air quality display will continue its municipal tour in West Vancouver! Visit the Seniors' Activity Centre until June 21 and explore LumiAir, a dynamic and interactive visual display where you can find air quality data, scenarios, and educational modules.

Starting June 8, Metro Vancouver will move to Stage 3 water restrictions.

All residential and non-residential lawn watering is still prohibited, and there are additional restrictions on watering trees and gardens, filling pools and hot tubs, and washing surfaces, vehicles, and boats.

Stage 3 water restrictions will come into effect on June 8.

Under Stage 3, lawn watering is still prohibited. Trees, shrubs, and flowers can be watered by hand or drip irrigation only —no sprinklers or soaker hoses. And there will be additional restrictions on filling pools/hot tubs, and washing surfaces, vehicles, and boats.
