Jessica Barrett's (author of No Place Like Home) talk at the Library on June 4 was a big hit. In conversation with journalist Abby Luciano, she explored the housing crisis and how neighbourhoods can change without losing their sense of home.

In No Place Like Home: The Missing Key to Our Housing Crisis, Jessica Barrett investigates the disconnects in housing policy and what can be done about them. Her research took her to Vienna, Berlin, and Harare, where she looked at housing success stories that could offer lessons for Canada and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who contributed a handmade heart to the Library’s Heart Garden in Swáy̓wi Temíxw.
