What an incredible day! Our 1st Annual Antique Car Show at Salem Park was a fantastic success, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

We welcomed 75 beautiful antique and classic cars and almost 200 spectators who came out to enjoy the sunshine, the chrome, and the amazing community spirit. The park was full of excitement from start to finish.

We were proud to present the following awards this afternoon:

We also want to extend a huge thank‑you to our Emcee, Wayne Schnare, for keeping the crowd engaged and the event running smoothly, and to Kevin Webb for providing excellent audio support throughout the day. Thank‑you to The Boneyard food truck for serving up delicious food all day — you kept everyone happy and well fed.
To our incredible volunteers - those who parked cars, sold 50/50 tickets, organized prizes, and kept everything running smoothly - thank you. And to all the businesses and community members who donated prizes, your generosity helped make today special.

Finally, thank you to everyone who attended and helped make our first year such a success. We’re already excited for next year.

Yesterday’s Music in the Park was everything we hoped it would be - incredible music, amazing people, and a whole lot of community spirit!

Local fiddlers Katey Aucoin and Amelia Parker kicked things off with a fantastic performance, and The Gordon Tucker Band kept the crowd smiling right through the afternoon. Hats off to the West River Fire Dept, who volunteered their time and served up a great BBQ for all in attendance.

Our silent auction tables were overflowing thanks to generous donors, and a huge thank‑you to our main event sponsor, Affinity Wind Farms for helping to make the fundraiser possible.

All proceeds from the event will go directly toward park improvement projects, and we appreciate the strong support shown throughout the day.

And now… we’re gearing up for the next big one - August 22nd - our 1st Annual Antique Car Show at Salem Park!

It's going to be a great day and we hope to see everyone at Salem Park.

Huge shout out to Jennifer Lowther from Salem & Area Recreation Association for coming on to talk about Music At The Park happening at the Salem Park this Sunday from 1-4pm, and developments they will be fundraising for!

Admission is $10 for adults and free for kids 12 and under, featuring live music from the Gordon Tucker Band, Amelia Parker, and Katey Aucoin.
There will also be a BBQ and Silent Auction on site. (PLEASE NOTE: Admission and the BBQ will be CASH ONLY. E-transfer will be available for the silent auction)
