🛑 Heads up, ! A new four-way stop is now in place.

In collaboration with the City’s Engineering Department and the Weyburn Police Service, a new four-way stop has been installed at the intersection of Douglas Rd. and 5th St.

Drivers travelling in ALL four directions now need to stop at the intersection. ⚠️Take extra care while everyone gets used to the change.

🗣️Help us spread the word, particularly with students and families who may travel through this area regularly.

Starting Sept. 9, Young Fellows Active Hours bring dedicated weekly time for the walking track and mini gym:

🚶Wednesdays from 1 - 3 p.m.
Walking Track

👟Sundays from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Walking Track + Mini Gym (scheduled activities)

YF Active Hours is made possible by The Young Fellows Club of Weyburn supporting more opportunities for our community to enjoy recreation together.

Environment Canada has issued wind warnings for the area.

Due to the risk of damaging winds, the Weyburn Landfill will be closed Monday, Aug. 31 as of noon. It is expected to reopen 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.

As of Wednesday, Aug. 26, the temporary water conservation request for is no longer in effect. Full water production capacity has been restored.

Residents and businesses may resume water use in accordance with the City’s year-round Water Conservation Bylaw. Learn more at weyburn.ca/water-conservation

Thank you for your patience and cooperation while City crews worked to restore full water production capacity.

ROAD CLOSURE - Coteau Ave. - Aug 26

Coteau Ave. will be closed to traffic between 9th St. to 11th St. to complete asphalt repairs. This work is expected to be complete by end of day, Wednesday, Aug. 26.

↪️Use alternate routes when travelling
🚫No parking will be permitted in the work area.

The City of thanks drivers and residents in the area for their patience as this work is completed.
