🌟 Our Honesty & Respect Bingo Challenge Starts TODAY! 🌟

Today is the first day of our Honesty & Respect Bingo Challenge!

This fun and interactive challenge gives students a chance to practice positive behaviours while earning points for their **NEST**!

Throughout the month, students are encouraged to show:
💗 Honesty
🤝 Respect
😊 Kindness
⭐ Responsibility

These behaviours can be demonstrated with classmates, teachers, family members, and others.

When a student completes an act on their Bingo card, an adult can initial the square. At the end of the month, students will return their completed Bingo cards to their classroom teacher.

Students will earn extra NEST points for participating and completing the Bingo Challenge!

Get your PINK page out and let’s see how many squares our students can complete while spreading honesty, respect, kindness, and responsibility throughout our school and community! 💙💛

👩‍🏫👨‍🏫 **DRESS LIKE A TEACHER/STAFF DAY!** 🎉

Get ready to have some fun this Friday, October 2nd!

Students are invited to dress like a teacher or staff member for the day! 👔👓☕ Whether it’s wearing a favourite teacher’s signature outfit, carrying a clipboard, rocking a teacher hairstyle, or adding a little school-staff flair, we can’t wait to see everyone’s creative looks! 😂

Students who participate will earn NEST points for their team!

Let’s have some fun, show off your creativity, and show our amazing teachers and staff some love by stepping into their shoes for the day! 💛💙

💛💙 **September Student of the Month Assembly** 💙💛

Today, we celebrated our first Student of the Month Assembly of the school year! 🌟

September’s virtue was **RESPECT**, and we were so proud to recognize the students who have been working hard to demonstrate respect for themselves, others, our school, and our community. We celebrated their kindness, positive choices, and efforts to make our school a welcoming place for everyone. 👏🌟

🧡 We also took time to honour Truth and Reconciliation. Together, we reflected on the history and experiences of Indigenous peoples and talked about the importance of listening, learning, showing respect, and thinking about the actions we can take to contribute to reconciliation.

Our students were reminded that reconciliation is something we can all be part of through learning, kindness, respect, understanding, and making sure everyone feels valued and included. 🧡

Thank you to all of our students and staff for making today’s assembly so meaningful. We are incredibly proud of the way our school community continues to learn, grow, and show RESPECT every day!💛💙🧡

As we welcome October, we will be focusing on the virtue of HONESTY. 💙💛 We will be encouraging our students to be truthful, trustworthy, and responsible in their words and actions. Throughout the month, we’ll be talking about the importance of telling the truth, making good choices, taking responsibility for our actions, and being honest even when it may be difficult. We look forward to seeing our students lead with honesty and let their character shine!
