Cheakamus DES systems.

We have been replacing a number of DES systems lately and have found the majority of tanks we have removed have been leaking or are on the edge of failure. All the systems were installed around the same time so we are expecting most systems to be in the same condition. Now is a good time to consider DES replacement.

We offer a cost effective solution using an electric heating boiler and stainless steel hot water tank with a lifetime warranty.

All our work is permitted with the Whistler Municipality and eligible for WHA capital improvement.

We are seeking an experienced plumber / gas fitter to join our team.

Candidates will:

Hold a journeyman plumbers certificate (required),
Hold Red Seal plumbing and BC Gas qualifications (preferred),
Have a Class 5 BC drivers licence (required),
Have a minimum 5 years previous plumbing experience in a residential and/or commercial setting,
Have good knowledge of residential plumbing systems, hot water tanks, boliers, heating systems, gas, maintenance and service work,
Have the ability to work with others and work unsupervised,
Be punctual, well mannered and well dressed as a representative for our company,
Have a positive can do attitude,
Have the ability to work under pressure,
Have good judgement and problem solving skills,
Be physically strong and able to fit in confined spaces,
Have your own hand tools.
Salary depending on experience and qualifictions up to $45/hour + bonus and commission opportunities.

You will be provided with uniform, company phone, iPad and company vehicle. You will also be rewarded with a ski pass and extended healthcare benefits after 3 months of employment.

Start Date ASAP.
