Our final story for National Accessibility Week is now airing on CP24 Toronto's Breaking News, and we ended the series by asking one simple question.
What does accessibility mean to you?
We invited members of our community to finish the sentence "Accessibility is...", and the responses were honest, powerful, and beautifully varied.
Accessibility is belonging. Accessibility is opportunity. Accessibility is being seen, heard, and welcomed exactly as you are.
Every answer was a reminder that accessibility means something different to each of us, and that's exactly why it matters. As our National Accessibility Week comes to a close, we want to keep the conversation going. We'd love to hear from you.
Finish the sentence in the comments: Accessibility is...
Your voice is part of the bigger picture, and the more we share, the more we learn from one another.
You can watch the full series on CP24 or on our social channels. Thank you for being part of this week with us.
