Tariffs are creating uncertainty for businesses. We want you to know: the Whitby Chamber is paying attention, and we’re here to support you.
As the trade situation between Canada and the U.S. continues to evolve, we know many businesses are asking what it could mean for their costs, supply chains, employees and future plans.
The Whitby Chamber of Commerce is taking action by:
🔹 Keeping our members informed with relevant updates, resources and available government supports.
🔹 Advocating for Whitby businesses by bringing your concerns to municipal, provincial and federal representatives, as well as our Ontario and Canadian Chamber networks.
🔹 Connecting you with expertise and exploring opportunities to bring in professionals who can provide practical guidance on tariffs, customs, duty relief and financial planning.
Most importantly, we want to hear from you.
If your business is being directly affected by tariffs or trade uncertainty, tell us what you’re experiencing. The more we understand the real challenges facing our members, the stronger our advocacy can be.
💬 Reach out to the Whitby Chamber ([email protected]) or reply to our latest member communication to share what your business is facing.
We’ll continue to amplify the voice of business and work toward a stronger, more prosperous Whitby and Durham Region.
