How many times have you found yourself in this situation: You're enjoying your time in the park, and you see a beautiful flower that you NEED to find the name of. Despite your expert analysis, the internet doesn't seem to know which "pretty pink flower with petals" you're referring to.

If you've found yourself in this spot before, you might want to check out Naturalist!

Naturalist is a social network for nature lovers, a crowdfunded species identification system, and organism occurrence recording tool. Just upload your nature photos and allow the vast network of community scientists help to identify what species you've photographed. Not only that, but your photos will contribute meaningful data to the study of biodiversity in your area!

No service? No problem. You can upload photos to the Naturalist app whenever you're back online, or from a computer using the Naturalist website.
