Our little graduates are getting ready to spread their wings and begin an exciting new adventure in September- kindergarten!

It has been such a privilege to be part of your early years, watching you discover new things, build friendships, gain confidence, and fill our days with laughter and joy. The little hands we once helped guide have grown into capable, caring, and curious children who are ready for their next big step.

We are so proud of everything you have accomplished and all that is still to come. Never stop exploring, asking questions, and believing in yourselves. The world is waiting for all the wonderful things you will do.

To your families, thank you for trusting us with your children and allowing us to be part of their journey.

Last week our toddler and preschool group had an exciting and unexpected discovery on the playground—we found a turtle! The children were very excited to see it and were very curious about their new little visitor.

This spontaneous moment turned into a wonderful teachable opportunity. After taking a few minutes to observe the turtle safely and respectfully, we carefully brought it to the pond and released it back into its natural home.

Once we said goodbye, some children felt a little upset, which opened up an important group discussion about caring for wildlife, respecting animals, and understanding that they belong in their natural environments.

A meaningful experience filled with curiosity, care, and learning in action. :)

One of the children was exploring a book about beehives. After finishing the book, she asked if we could make a beehive. I placed a variety of art materials on the table that could be used to create one. As I set out the materials, other students became interested and joined in. Shortly after, they began creating their own beehives.

One student suggested, “We need to make a bee.” I asked the children what they thought they would need to create a bee. One student responded, “A black oval paper, yellow stripes, and something for a stinger—maybe a triangle.” I then provided those materials for the group.

As the children continued creating, they began requesting additional items such as googly eyes and something to make a smile. They worked collaboratively, exploring their ideas and expanding their creations as the activity progressed. Check out the pictures. Great job with your creations!

This little guy had fun exploring with Play-Doh—check out his creations!

Can you guess what the giraffe did? 😂 And in the second picture, he made a butterfly using his knee by climbing onto the table and pressing it into the Play-Doh. He was very proud of his work!!
