Finding respite care in White Rock, South Surrey, and surrounding communities isn't always easy. Many long-term care communities have limited respite availability, and families are often faced with long wait lists when they need support the most.

At Bayview Seniors Community, we currently have private studio suites available for respite stays (minimum one-month stay).

When a caregiver needs support, a safe place to recover, or extra help after a hospital stay, finding quality respite care can be incredibly challenging.

In White Rock, South Surrey, and surrounding communities, respite care availability is often very limited, with many families facing long wait times or difficulty finding a suitable placement when they need it most.

At Bayview Seniors Community, we currently have private studio suites available for respite stays (minimum one-month stay) as well as end-of-life and palliative care in our warm, welcoming community.

What a wonderful afternoon at Bayview's Open House last weekend! We were delighted to welcome families, friends, and members of our community to experience the Bayview difference firsthand. Guests enjoyed an incredible selection of chef-prepared appetizers and refreshments created by our Red Seal Chef and in-house culinary team, toured our beautiful community, and connected with the compassionate people who make Bayview feel like home.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success. It was a pleasure sharing our community and answering questions about long-term care, memory care, respite, end of life care and the personalized support we provide to residents and their families.

Our residents recently enjoyed a lovely outing to Laura's Coffee Corner a true neighbourhood favourite right here in White Rock. From delicious pastries and fresh coffee to warm conversation and laughter, it was a wonderful way to enjoy the beautiful weather together.

A special thank you as well to Laura’s Coffee Corner for previously donating muffins and treats to our residents. Your kindness and generosity truly meant so much to our community, and we are always grateful for the warm welcome from your team.

Our multi-day Mother’s Day celebrations at Bayview Seniors Community were filled with thoughtful moments, laughter, music, creativity, and meaningful time spent together ❤️

Throughout the celebration, residents enjoyed Mother’s Day baking, painting hearts, a fun “Who Am I?” Famous Women edition game, relaxing manicures, vintage tea time, fancy hats, AND live entertainment from an Elvis impersonator!

From singing along to familiar songs to painting together over tea and sweet treats, these experiences brought so much joy and connection into the community. Seeing residents, families, and staff come together in such a warm and welcoming atmosphere made the celebrations truly special.

You can feel the joy in moments like these 🎶❤️

Our Mother’s Day celebration had the whole room smiling, clapping, and enjoying the music together as Elvis brought so much energy into the community. Seeing residents light up during live entertainment is always something special.

With vintage tea time, fresh manicures and fancy hats, residents dressed in their Sunday best, and families gathered together, the afternoon was filled with warmth, laughter, and meaningful connection. The performance was incredibly well received by both residents and families, making it such a memorable celebration for everyone involved.
