The Special Ballot poll is hoppin! This year, any eligible voter may apply for a Special Ballot – you can register and vote right away at the poll, or bring your ballot back when you've completed it.

City Hall, Steele Street entrance
Open until October 21
Monday to Friday
8:30 am to 4:30 pm

All Special Ballots must be received at City Hall, or in a drop box at City Hall or the CGC, no later than 2 pm on October 21 in order to be counted.

Candidate bios are up at whitehorse.ca/election.
Election Day is October 21.

Residents can now register to vote, check their registration status, and apply to vote by mail online for the 2021 City of Whitehorse Municipal Election! 🗳️ October 21 whitehorse.ca/election

Through our partnership with Elections Yukon, the upcoming Municipal Election will offer the most convenient and flexible options for voters. This will be the first time that Whitehorse voters can register to vote online, and all voters can vote by special ballot.

Are you interested in running in this year’s election? Whether you want to be involved in the City’s decision-making process, or contribute your knowledge and experience, serving your community can be a rewarding experience.

The nomination period for candidates opens on September 7th and closes on September 23rd at 12 noon. Prospective candidates can find election information, such as eligibility and key dates at whitehorse.ca/election.

The City of Whitehorse Municipal Election is on October 21st, 2021.
