Come to Kettley’s canyon for How We Walk With The Land And Water on the land gathering!

We will be moving forward with the HWW On the Land Gathering. Due to a recent passing of an Elder, It is with heavy hearts and a reflective mood that we will gather together focusing on giving thanks and asking our ancestors for support to move together in a good way.

Today - August 20th from 2-7pm
Marsh Lake at Marsh Lake - Kettlys Canyon (John Joes Trapline) - 4.5km past the Yukon River Blue Bridge on your right.
Join us for storytelling, artist workshops, children's activities & dinner at 6pm.

We invite all our relations of Ta’an Kwäch’än Council, Kwanlin Dün First Nation, and Carcross/Tagish First Nation on the shared overlap territories gather on the land and learn about How We Walk with Land & Water.

Join us for an on the land gathering on Wednesday August 20th from 2-7pm at Marsh Lake - Kettley's Canyon (John Joe's Trapline).

We invite all our relations of Ta’an Kwäch’än Council, Kwanlin Dün First Nation, and Carcross/Tagish First Nation to come together and celebrate the work that has been accomplished through HWW, and to get started on the next phase of the work together!

These maps are based on our traditional knowledge combined with scientific data when available and appropriate. These maps are owned by our Nations and are not available to other governments or outside groups without consent from all our Nations.

How We Walk maps and models will be used to explain to our planning partners how we envision our relationship with space and place. They will be considered along with our guiding principles, our traditional knowledge, our worldview, and Calls to Action.
