Looking back at the last 3 weeks, I am glad to have participated in this year municipal election for Whitehorse. My defeat reminds me of the importance to gain the trust of the citizenry. I have to learn from that experience. Thanks you to all of you who welcomed me in their home over the past 3 weeks. Thanks to my volunteers and friends.

Let me also say the importance to go into an election with the support of your family. Dorothy has always believed in my capacity to support the governance of our city. Without her strong support, i would have never put my name forward: thank you Dorothy!

I know the people of Whitehorse elected last night a strong and capable council. The city will be well guided by these councillors and the new mayor. Congratulations to all the elected candidates!
