Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honour the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and all first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.

343 firefighters and 60 police officers made the ultimate sacrifice that day, along with countless others who lost their lives and the many who have suffered lasting impacts in the years since.

Their courage, selflessness, and commitment to protecting others will never be forgotten.

Today, and every day, we remember those who gave everything in service to others.

We remember. We honour. We will never forget.
