The Yukon Agricultural Association is looking for volunteers to help make this year’s event a success on Saturday, September 5!

🕙 Time: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Volunteers will be assigned shifts, with breaks to enjoy the fair. If you can only help for part of the day, accommodations can be made!

🎙️ Volunteer Radio Hosts Wanted! | The VBY Show

Interested in radio, podcasting, interviewing, or getting more involved in Yukon’s nonprofit community?

Volunteer Bénévoles Yukon is looking for volunteer radio hosts to help host The VBY Show, live every Thursday from 12:00–1:00 p.m. on CJUC 92.5 FM.

As a host, you’ll have the chance to:
🎤 Interview Yukon nonprofit and community organizations
💬 Have fun, podcast-style conversations with local guests
🙌 Highlight volunteer opportunities, events, programs, and community initiatives
📻 Gain hands-on experience in radio, interviewing, and live broadcasting

You don’t need previous radio experience — we’re looking for people who are curious, friendly, comfortable having conversations, and interested in the Yukon community.

🏘 Look what volunteers made happen!

Thirty-two homes in Whitehorse, six years of unpaid evenings behind them, and families are already moving in.

That is what volunteering looks like when people stay with something long past the point it stops being exciting, and it is why we keep saying that volunteers do not just help their community, they build it. Congratulations to the volunteers behind project 1096! And thank you to everyone across the Yukon giving their time to something bigger than themselves.
