We’re excited to share that The HiBoys Show will be hitting the Main Stage on Friday, August 9th at Wi’kipaltimk 2025 — a powerful and moving three-day event at Open Hearth Park in Sydney, Unama’ki.

Hosted by the Union of Nova Scotia Mi’kmaq and led by Debra Ginnish, Mike Dwyer, and their incredible team, this special gathering is dedicated to honouring Indian Day School Survivors and celebrating Mi’kmaq culture in a truly unforgettable way.

The Ramblers are teaming up with 7GI Society / Music on the Hill and us, The HiBoys to raise the $40,000 needed to get our young athletes to Nationals—and we need YOU to step up to the plate!

7GI Society Stands in Solidarity on National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit+ People (MMIWG2S+)

Today, we pause to honor and remember the lives lost and those still missing. The National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit+ People is a time for reflection, healing, and raising awareness about the ongoing crisis affecting our communities.

At 7GI Society, we stand in solidarity with the families, communities, and nations who continue to fight for justice and healing. We acknowledge the pain, loss, and resilience of Indigenous families who have been affected by this tragedy, and we renew our commitment to supporting efforts to end violence against Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit+ people.

This day reminds us of the importance of listening, learning, and taking action to prevent further loss. We will continue to work together to create a safer future for all Indigenous peoples, with respect, justice, and healing at the forefront of our efforts.
