🚌 Bus Transportation to Treaty 72 Land Claim Appeal Hearing – Toronto

Nawash Band members are invited to register for bus transportation to attend the Treaty 72 Land Claim Appeal Hearing in Toronto on Friday, October 2, 2026.

📍 Departure: Band Office
⏰ Bus leaves: 6:00 a.m.
🏠 Approximate return: 10:00 p.m.

A bagged lunch will be provided on the bus.

Please note that parking at the Band Office is limited. Where possible, attendees are asked to arrange to be dropped off before departure.

Space on the bus is limited and registration is required.

Parents, guardians and students are advised that school buses will be operating as normal on Tuesday, September 8, the first day of school, for all Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation students residing in Neyaashiinigmiing.

Bus routes include:
- Kikendaasogamig Elementary School
- St. Mary’s High School
- Owen Sound District Secondary School
- Peninsula Shores District School in Wiarton

Route information will be available the week of August 31 – September 4:
