Old motor oil does NOT go to the landfill. Bring them down to Jepson Petroleum Bulk Plant at 1041 Gill Road. They accept used oil, oil filters, and oil containers and they have designated collection areas.

Used motor oil, oil filters, and empty oil containers can be returned to designated recycling depots for proper handling and processing.

When bringing motor oil products to Jepson:
- Keep oil in a plastic, sealed container away from water and debris.
- Keep different fluids separate.
- Bring used oil filters and eligible oil containers to the designated collection area.
- Do not bring oil contaminated with water, antifreeze, or other substances.
- Do not leave garbage or other unrelated materials at the drop off station.

Hot compost tips from your local composter...
A workout this morning turning the pile Potato House where we have our very own drive thru community compost drop off zone!
Wanted to showcase some of the contam I find when hand turning these Black Gold piles.
We cannot make soil out of plastic so we are asking for your help keeping it out on your end. It can be difficult at times but I hope that at least we learn to avoid using plastic to wrap our food scraps for composting. Bags are a pain ... here and in your backyard bins too!
Ps. Potato House has worms for sale if ya wanna get your home bins working over the winter time.
Props to everyone who is already removing fruit stickers and keeping plastic out of their bins.. we really thank you!!
