Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) The Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) is home to Art in the Park Windsor & Children’s Fest!

Our motto is "Service above self" and we proudly serve Windsor and Essex County and communities all around the world. We support many international humanitarian projects such as eradicating polio, bringing clean water to remote villages and empowering girls through education. Locally, we provide significant financial and leadership support to the John McGivney Children's Centre, the Rotary Home for Youth at Maryvale, Children's Safety Village and many other initiatives. This past Monday, we had the pleasure of welcoming District Governor Kim Spirou to our meeting, which was filled with fellowship, celebration and some very special moments. She related her 'star-fish' story to show that we should take action to change just one life for the better, without having to solve the problem on a grand scale for all of society.
Please join us in welcoming our newest members, Mary Lou Drake, Gilles Haché and Malcolm Campbell, to the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918)!

Congratulations to Cathy Lynn Mancinone on being recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow. And congratulations as well to Allan Kidd and Mike Drake for receiving the "Be A Difference Maker" award, celebrating their community leadership and dedication.

Finally, a special thank you to our youth exchange student Leopoldine Floquet, who shared a few words about her experience so far in Windsor and her home town in France!

A big thank you to Trevor Pitcher for welcoming members of the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) for a fascinating presentation at the Fish Ecology Research Station about their research to restore sturgeon fish to the Great Lakes, including the new fish hatchery at Walpole Island Elementary School.

We appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the work being done to support fish, local waterways and the surrounding ecosystem, and to hear about the importance of connecting students with hands-on learning and the environment.

Thank you, Trevor, for sharing your time, knowledge and passion with us. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn more about this important work in our community!

Today, we gathered for the Peace Pole Dedications before walking from each end of the Gordie Howe International Bridge and meeting in the middle, bringing together our two communities in a meaningful symbol of peace and connection.

We’re proud to have been a contributing club to this project and grateful to everyone who came out to be part of such a special moment.
