What makes the Windsor Salt Marsh stand out internationally is the fact this it is producing more vegetation each year than any other marsh in North America. Researchers from Acadia University and Saint Mary’s University have partnered with the Hants RDA and other key stakeholders in Hants County with the hopes of eventually developing an Interpretative Centre and an International Research Symposium.
