☕ We were thrilled and surprised to receive the wonderful news from Meg and Christian that Matthew House has been selected to receive a Starbucks Foundation Neighbourhood Community Grant!

While coffee may fuel our daily lives, it is the generosity of community partners and donors like the Starbucks Foundation that fuels the work we do every day, as we receive NO government funding. Your support helps Matthew House provide safety, shelter, and compassionate care to men, women, and children who have come to Canada seeking refuge and a new beginning.

Thank you to the Starbucks Foundation, and to Meg and Christian for sharing this exciting news. We are deeply grateful for your investment in our community and in the lives of the families at Matthew House. Together, we are creating hope, home, and family.

Thank You for Celebrating World Refugee Day with Us!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined Matthew House and our refugee-serving community partners at Charles Clark Square today to celebrate World Refugee Day.

Your presence helped honour the strength, resilience, and dignity of refugees and newcomers who have enriched our community with their courage, talents, and hope. Together, we celebrated the fundamental right to seek safety and demonstrated what a welcoming community looks like in action.

Thank you to our community partners, volunteers, performers, speakers, and attendees who made this event so meaningful. When we come together, we create a stronger, more compassionate Windsor-Essex for everyone.
