Windsor-Essex Family Network is hosting in-person and virtual sessions for parents and caregivers whose children with special needs are entering school for the first time, returning to school with anxiety or uncertainty, moving to a new grade, classroom or school or are looking to connect with families with similar experiences. The times and dates for each session are noted below. 🌟🎒🍏
📚 **School starts soon. Do you have questions you’re not sure who to ask?**
You do not have to figure it all out alone.
Join us for **School Entry & Beyond: Coffee Chats with Families of WEFN**—FREE, relaxed sessions where families can learn, ask questions and share helpful tips.
We’ll talk about:
✅ Special education and school processes
✅ Working and communicating with your child’s school
✅ What to expect during the school year
✅ Ways to lower stress for you and your child
✅ Tips from families who have been there
These sessions are for parents, grandparents, foster parents and anyone who is the primary caregiver for a child with special education needs in JK to Grade 8.
