West Hants Welcome Centre, located in Windsor NS Join us in Windsor, Nova Scotia, the land of giant pumpkins Welcome to the West Hants Welcome Centre page. Uniacke to Hantsport.

Here we will be promoting tourism related information for the West Hants Region. We will do our best to inspire you to "Linger Longer" and explore all that West Hants has to offer. There are 52 wonderful community's that stretch from Walton to Vaughan and from Mt. The Welcome Centre is located in the Hants County War Memorial Community Centre, 312 Gerrish Street, Windsor, and is open 7 days a week, 9 am to 5 pm, from mid May to mid October. For assistance with Tide Times, accommodations, festivals and events, even provincial maps and directions, we are here to assist.

Today is our LAST DAY OPEN for the season at the Visitor Information Center! As we close our doors for another year, we want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by, visited, asked questions, shared stories & made us part of their travels!!

TRAFFIC ADVISORY.
Please see the attached map for those attending the Windsor Pumpkin Regatta. Public and accessible parking areas are identified. Please be patient as you meander through out communities to Lake Pesaquid.

The Windsor Pumpkin Regatta starts on the Falmouth side of Lake Pesaquid and finishes at the Windsor Waterfront.

PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK DRIVEWAYS.

The West Hants Municipal Offices are closed on Monday, October 12. The West Hants Sports Complex and the Visitor Welcome Centre are open.

Holiday Collection Schedule: There will be no Waste Collection on Thanksgiving day, instead it will take place tomorrow, Saturday, October 10th. Please have waste curbside by 7am on Saturday morning. If you experience any waste collection issues (such as a missed stop), please contact GFL Dispatch at 902-468-9111.
