Thank YOU to our friends from On A Mission For The Mission for hosting the 18th Annual On a Mission for the Mission Bike Ride and Poker Run on Sunday, August 30th, we can't WAIT to see ALL who participate each year and new friends of course 🙂

Registration begins at 9:30 am at Chuck's Roadhouse Lakeshore (13039 Tecumseh Rd E).

With all our heart, we want to say THANK YOU to our incredible Volunteers, Students and Staff of course who work hard every day to prepare incredible, 3 nutritious meals for our Shelter Guests Lunch for Community Members as well. And thank you to our wonderful Team in the Food Bank who help so many individuals and families with food for their home each month!

A special Thank YOU today goes out to 2 of our amazing Bingo Volunteers Giovanni and Martin, who consistently volunteer to work shifts at Breakaway Gaming Centre representing the Downtown Mission and helping us raise much needed funds to run our Food Services at the Mission and The Windsor Youth Centre. Thank YOU for helping us feed hungry individuals and families right here in Windsor-Essex!!!

You are ALL amazing and we are BLESSED to have you as part of our DTM Family :)

💙 Your Compassion Changes Lives. Thank You, Windsor-Essex💙
Every day, because of the incredible generosity of our community, lives are being transformed with hope, opportunity, and a fresh start.

Last month, together, we celebrated:
🎓 5 graduates from our Phoenix Recovery Program, who have taken courageous steps toward lasting recovery. The Phoenix Recovery Program is partially funded by Windsor-Essex Ontario Health Team!
💼 8 graduates from our Enterprise Job Training Program, secured Jobs and have further stabilized their lives. The Enterprise Job Training Program is partially funded by Employment Ontario through the City of Windsor - Municipal Government!
🏠 10 individuals who moved into safe, stable housing and are beginning a new chapter in their lives (5 with the help of Housing Information Services and 5 from the Phoenix Program).

These milestones represent more than numbers - they represent people who have overcome obstacles, embraced new opportunities, and are building brighter futures.

To our donors, volunteers, community partners, and everyone who believes in the mission of restoring hope and dignity: thank you. Your generosity provides more than meals and shelter - it opens doors to recovery, employment, housing, and lasting change.

Every gift, every hour volunteered, and every act of kindness makes a difference.

Together, we are helping our neighbours move from crisis to stability and from uncertainty to hope.
