Fee per session is $3.00 for members and $4.00 for non-members. ⁠ ⁠ ⁠

This exercise video is a great way to add physical activity to your day with a group of your friends. ⁠ ⁠ ⁠

During the video you will be led through an entire exercise class with warm-up, cardio, strength & balance and cool down & stretch.

Become a Meals on Wheels Driver today and help support our vision that no senior goes hungry or experiences social isolation.

• Routes are typically delivered Monday through Friday between 11:15 a.m. –
12 p.m.
• Meal delivery can take ½ hour to 1 hour
• Meals are picked up at the Winkler Senior Centre – 650 S. Railway Avenue
(in the Buhler Active Living Centre)
• All routes are in the city of Winkler

Prerequisites:

• Driver must be 18 years and older
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Willing to use own vehicle to deliver meals to assigned addresses
• A minimum commitment of 1 day a week
• Pass Criminal record, Vulnerable sector and Adult Abuse Registry check.
• Take time to be pleasant and chat with the client upon arrival at each home

To Volunteer:

1. Complete a Volunteer Application form, available at Winkler Senior Centre
or on our website www.winklerseniorcentre.com/volunteers

2. Once you’ve completed the application, you will be asked to complete a
background check.

3. After satisfactory background check results are returned to the Volunteer
coordinator, we will work with you to schedule orientation with another
driver and route.
