September is here, and that means Cookbook Club is back! We took the Summer off, and are excited to get back to sharing delicious recipes with you!

This month the theme is Harvest: Think pumpkins, squash, carrots, beets, and pretty much anything that is ripe at this time of year.

Cookbook Club is free, and you do not need to register to participate, but if you would like to receive reminders and updates, please contact us with your email address. Give us a call at 204-325-7174, email us at [email protected] or visit us in person.

See you on September 10th!

September is here, and for this month's Adult Reading Challenge, we're coming up short - September's prompt is A Short Book (under 250 pages or under 8 hours)

Interested in joining the challenge? It's not too late! All you need to do is head to your local South Central Regional Library to sign up and then you will receive a bookmark to help you keep track. We're going ticketless, so when you've finished reading your monthly book, be sure to go into the library to report and earn your entry. Once you've finished that month's prompt, you just need to wait for the next prompt announcement.

You can read in your preferred format (Audiobook, Graphic Novel, etc.) and the book does not need to be owned by South Central Regional Library to count. You can read anything you want (that fits the monthly prompt)! If you're not able to read that month's prompt, that's okay, you can always make time to earn the ticket at a time suitable for you.

Sign up today in person, by phone at 204-325-7174 or via email at [email protected].
