Well Being Check Incident

Earlier this evening, officers were attempting to locate a young boy in the area of Partridge Crescent after receiving a request to check on this boy’s well being. Since this time, police have been made aware of reports circulating on social media indicating police may need help with a missing person instigation. To clarify, no missing person report was made to officers in relation to this boy, and at this time police do not believe the boy is in danger or at risk of harm.

Officers would like to thank the members of the public who offered to help after seeing these social media posts, however police will not be requiring assistance in this matter at this time.
