Build Confidence Through Gaming!

Starting a new school year can bring excitement—but it can also mean new situations, social pressures and anxiety. For some youth, building confidence and connecting with others can feel especially challenging.

MDAM Winnipeg is offering a FREE six-week gaming program for youth aged 12–16, beginning September 14!

Through gaming, participants will have opportunities to:

✨ Build confidence and resilience
🤝 Practise communication and social skills
💬 Connect with other youth
🎮 Learn and grow in a fun, supportive environment

Be part of the conversation.

How can artificial intelligence and emerging technologies support mental wellness while keeping people, compassion and lived experience at the centre?

At Minds in Bloom 2.0, Dr. Archana Krishnan and other community-minded leaders will explore the future of ethical, human-centred innovation—and how we can build resilient support systems grounded in connection and community-driven care.

This is more than a conversation about technology. It’s a conversation about the future of healing, the role of lived experience and the kind of mental health support we want to create for Manitobans.

Be part of the conversation. Be part of the change.

Not everything that takes your time gives you energy.

Today, spend a little time with something that helps you feel more like yourself.

Innovation is most meaningful when it is guided by compassion, connection and lived experience.

At Minds in Bloom 2.0, we’re bringing together leaders and community members to explore how artificial intelligence and human-centred innovation can strengthen mental health support—without losing sight of the people at the heart of it.

Meet Joelle Foster, CEO of North Forge, and join a mission-driven conversation about building innovative ecosystems that support human well-being and create a more accessible future for all Manitobans. Be part of the conversation.

Sometimes filling your cup means dreaming a little.

What are you hoping for?

What are you working toward?

What possibility would you like to make room for?

You don't need to have the whole plan.

Just a little hope for what's ahead.

✨ That's enough to begin.
