Yesterday at Camp Manitou, we had the opportunity to celebrate something truly special, what can happen when a community comes together around a shared purpose.

For more than 25 years, the Headingley Run for Wishes has brought people together to support local causes and make a lasting difference. Thanks to the dedication of organizers, volunteers, participants and community partners, that impact continues to be felt throughout our constituency!

It was wonderful to join Cody Reimer of Crane Steel, James Pearce of Spring Hill Lumber and Truss Fab, School Trustee Samantha Pope, Councillor Evan Duncan, Josh Mulvenna of the Headingley Fire department and many others in recognizing the contributions made to Camp Manitou through this incredible community effort.

This is what community is all about, neighbours supporting neighbours, local businesses stepping up, and people working together to create opportunities for future generations. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped make the Headingley Run for Wishes such a lasting success! 🙌😊

A valuable conversation with local pharmacists in Winkler today, where MLA Carrie Hiebert and I got to hear directly about the important role they play in our healthcare system.
Their frontline perspective matters, and conversations like these are an important part of understanding how we can strengthen healthcare in our communities.
