Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre is hosting a Powwow Demo & Regalia Night on October 15 to celebrate and feast the buffalo hides of Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata.

October 15 | 5:30–7:30 p.m.
510 King Street

Children and youth ages 6–17 must be registered in the Rising Sun Powwow Club to attend.

Wear your regalia if you have it, but it’s not required. Fancy Shawls are available to borrow for the evening on a first-come, first-served basis.

📣 Super Clinic coming to North Point Douglas!

On Wednesday, October 14, NPDWC will be partnering with SEED Winnipeg to host a Super Clinic at the North Point Douglas Women’s Centre, bringing several services together in one place. Our drop in services will be closed for the day.

Community members can drop in for support with:

🪪 Getting IDs
📝 Filing income taxes
🏦 Opening a bank account
🇨🇦 Navigating Service Canada, including help with accounts or other challenges accessing services
✔️ Financial information and support
