We’re happy to share our first list of New Releases at the Rainbow Resource Centre Library! They were added in May, 2022. And there are MANY more books on the way this fall.

Good morning folx,
We have now confirmed with Pride Winnipeg that we will be marching in their virtual parade on Monday, August 30 at 11am! We will meet and get organized in the float/vehicle staging area (as per the attached map of Assiniboine Park) and will then walk through the park and passed their cameras.
We'll have banners for all the social/support groups to walk behind if you so choose, or you can walk behind the Rainbow Resource Centre one with staff, board, and volunteers.
Feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable with to show your pride! Masks will be required and we will have a supply of paper masks for those that don't have one.
Please share this info and attached graphic and map with your networks so anyone who would like to join us has the opportunity!

Are you a Canadian who identifies as 2SLGBTQ+? Have you experienced social exclusion, bullying, physical violence, sexual violence, intentional misgendering or deadnaming, homophobia, transphobia, parental rejection, or discriminatory practices based on your gender and/or sexuality?

Then we want to hear your voice! A research team at the University of Saskatchewan is conducting a national survey of 2SLGBTQ+ folks’ experiences of gender-based violence during the COVID-19 pandemic. INTRODUCING…the DEN (Diversifying the Enby Network)! Is a social space for Non-Binary and gender-questioning folx who are 18+ to connect with one another in a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment! Open to folx who exist outside the gender binary or are questioning where they fit within the gender spectrum. the Den will be meeting every second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 7-9pm via zoom until the Centre reopens.
