SI Alarms Ltd origins began with offering security cameras and spy cams that were built to be undetected. After securing a number of clients we felt very confident in our security camera line and started to branch into home security systems. The SI Alarms Ltd research and development team built our Winnipeg home security division around hard-wired, redundant security systems that were later up-sca

led for business users as well. We integrated panic buttons, door access and remote features including mobile phone support. Now SI Alarms Ltd boasts both hard-wired and featured Wireless alarm systems. In 2012 we set a milestone of more than 10 years of service to Winnipeg security customers. With this achievement we decided it was again time to expand our security systems into the Fire and Safety field. The fire and safety division works within tight mandates and bylaws set out by the province. Working closely with fire chiefs and staff we have been able to produce accurate fire inspections for building owners. Restaurant owners can now have their kitchen's fire suppression systems inspected semi-annually by a SI Alarms Fire Technician. Fire Protection Equipment can be obtained from our office. The types of equipment are all sizes of extinguishers, carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors. Helping occupants get out of a burning or smoke filled building can be a serious challenge. Welcome our new SI Fire and Safety Plan consultants. We develop accurate and valuable fire safety plans that protect all building occupants to ensure they have a safe route to get out. Over these 10 years, we have worked alongside our long-standing ULC listed monitoring station in Nova Scotia. They monitor and proactively manage our home alarm systems including all our business clients. Set-up a key holder list and in the event of an emergency friends and loved-ones will be notified via phone call within seconds of the burglar, or fire triggers. Security Alarm Systems monitoring starts at just $16.50 / month for standard monitoring of doors, windows and motion detectors. Winnipeg home security can be tailored to feature home automation advantages like controlling lights, temperature and locks with a click from your smart-phone. (Android, iPhone, Blackberry) Additional charges may be required to the monthly bill. Spy cameras, GPS and gadgets are now available upon special request. 1️⃣ Arm and disarm the system a few times
If the panel lags or reacts slowly — call us.
✅ Everything should respond instantly.

2️⃣ Trigger an alarm — and see what happens
Arm the system and walk past all sensors.
✅ Did the siren go off?
✅ Did monitoring call you?
✅ Did you receive an alert?

🛠 Ask which zones were triggered — make sure your system communicates properly.

3️⃣ Check power and batteries
🔋 Don’t trust just the green light.
Check all devices — including the main backup battery.

4️⃣ Update your emergency contact list
📞 Make sure the monitoring center can reach someone on the first try.

5️⃣ Don’t leave this to the last minute
