Our goal is to ensure that individuals with intellectual disabilities get the encouragement and support they need to discover their own visions of independence.

🚶‍♀️ Accessibility All Around Us
Have you ever noticed the raised yellow bumps at crosswalks, curb ramps, and transit platforms?
Known as tactile warning surfaces, these textured indicators provide important information for people who are blind or have low vision, helping them detect changes in walking surfaces and navigate more safely and independently.
Features like these are often overlooked, but they play an important role in creating communities that are accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone.
