Meet Ousman! Ousman moved to Winnipeg from Guienea when he was 8 years old. In 2020 Ousman began his fight against homelessness and came to Pan Am Place for support. Ousman has spent the last 6 months furthering his education and focusing on building a better future for himself outside our doors. Every day Ousman can be seen hitting the books and then hitting the gym! With goals of becoming a fire fighter and an amateur boxer, Ousman has demonstrated tremendous discipline and a contagious attitude as he continues to work on himself! Here at Pan Am Place, we are proud to be able to support Ousman and many young men like him in their fight against homelessness.

Congratulations to our President and Founder, Harry Black, on being recognized as an Our Manitoba Heroes hero!
Harry’s own mentality is the foundation of our organization, and the platform we use to change lives. He promotes a healthy body and mind, a positive daily routine and a dedication to setting goals, then crushing them. We thank him for being a role model to our residents, our staff, the members Pan Am Boxing Club and everyone he meets. Congrats on your tremendous honour, Harry!
