ly for an apprenticeship program. Understand employment standards, income tax and other payroll deductions. Find out about Manitoba's school system for children and youth. Learn where to find job related training, and how to improve communication skills for a specific job. Places to Go
Learn how to use the phone book and check out books and videos at the library. Find out about immigrant-serving agencies and important government offices. Learn how to use Winnipeg's bus system, and how to use maps to get around the city. Learn how to set up a banking account, use debit cards and credit cards, and how to pay bills. Find out where to shop for food, clothing, and household items. Learn how to find and enroll in one of Winnipeg's many free English schools. Laws
