Welcome Morgan to the team!
Morgan Maguet joins JCFS as the new Executive Assistant to the CEO. She brings experience from her previous role as an administrative assistant with Rural and Northern CFS in Beausejour, along with a background as a content creator, government procurement employee, and freelance journalist for the Clipper Weekly Newspaper.

Morgan is a graduate of the University of Manitoba’s Political Science program (B.A.) and has completed graduate studies in National Security and Intelligence at the University of Ottawa, as well as studies in Media and Communications at Western University. She is thrilled to be joining the JCFS team and looks forward to meeting everyone.

We are so pleased to welcome such talent to our team.

Shavuot celebrates receiving the Torah, a holiday of learning, gratitude, and tradition. Many enjoy dairy foods today, symbolizing the “land flowing with milk and honey” and the purity of new beginnings. Chag Sameach!

Yesterday JCFS Winnipeg had another partnership cooking event with (Winnipeg Branch)! We prepared 64 liters of delicious and nutritious soup for our JCFS Food Pantry clients to
enjoy. Each container was then labeled and will be ready to be distributed. Thank you to our volunteers for cooking with love to warm so many hearts and to The Asper Foundation for supporting this program.
