Step back into a time before everything lived online.
Ode to Analog explores the nostalgia of physical retail, analog media, and the feeling of discovering something in person. Inspired by the visual language of the ’90s, 468 Main transforms into a space where clothing, technology, and memory collide.

The installation invites visitors to experience shopping as it once was — tactile, imperfect, social, and entirely offline.

GROUND FLOOR — COME SHOP LIKE IT’S THE ’90s
A wall of CRT televisions plays a series of analog visuals, creating the atmosphere of a ’90s retail environment. Flickering screens, nostalgic imagery, and the physical experience of browsing clothing bring the pre-digital shopping experience back to life.

2ND FLOOR — PROJECTION OF SELF
A collection of blank vintage T-shirts becomes the canvas for projected analog imagery. As moving visuals interact with the garments, the installation explores clothing as a form of identity, memory, and self-expression.

Rather than being worn, the shirts become screens; blurring the line between what we wear, what we remember, and how we present ourselves.

we’re activating the whole building — inside + outside — with Sabrina’s Stellar Karaoke and MYXZ Images l Winnipeg Events newspaper photobooth out front, Chell📄 bringing the tunes to the second floor foyer, and new things to explore throughout.

ilycha matcha ★ is kicking off her residency with Toasty Alley | Bites & Bevs Winnipeg from 5–10pm 🤤

then head up to the third floor where sunday feel · sculptural silver jewelry will be having her soft opening.

new faces, new spaces, same 468 energy.

We lit the entire block up for First Fridays in the Exchange 🔥
OTTO | 189 BANNATYNE AVE passage | cafe | winnipeg, mb and our building had things going out in and outside the building.

From markets, karaoke, photobooths and more.
It was a great time and we cant wait to do it again next month!
